Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation will temporarily close the County Road 320 bridge over Interstate 75 between the Orange Lake/Irvine and Micanopy exits in north Marion County for repairs.
The bridge will be continuously closed, beginning as early as 6 a.m. today, Jan. 22, until repairs are completed in the week of Feb. 8.
The repairs will require overnight closures of southbound I-75 at the CR 320 bridge. These will occur nightly from 9:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. on both Jan. 26 and 27, and again the week of Feb. 8. Details for the February closures will be shared once more information is available.
The following detours are outlined below:
To access CR 320 east of I-75: Head south on CR 329, then turn left on NW 193 Street, then left again onto northbound US 441. Continue north.
To access CR 320 west of I-75: Head south on US 441, then turn right on NW 193 Street, then right again.
Motorists traveling south on I-75 will be directed to take exit 374 to CR 234. They can turn left or right onto CR 234 to return to southbound I-75. If turning left onto CR 234, motorists should then turn right onto U.S. 441, turn right onto CR 318, and follow signage to return to I-75. If turning right onto CR 234, continue on CR 234, which turns into CR 329, turn left onto CR 318 and follow signage to return to I-75.
FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs, stay alert and use caution. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
