The 1921 silent film “The Sheik,” based on the 1919 romance novel of the same name, is the next movie in the College of Central Florida’s ongoing International Film Series.

The film will be screened at the Ocala Drive-In Theater on Feb. 23, at 7:30 p.m. Online discussion will be hosted by Stephen F. Austin professor Linda Levitt on Feb. 24, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Admission is free.

The first 12 vehicles in attendance will receive a rose from the Lady in Black, who is said to leave flowers every year at the grave of Rudolph Valentino, the film’s star who died in 1926 at the age of 31.

Links to the screening and online discussion or more information on the series can be found by contacting Wendy Adams at 352-873-5800, ext. 1546, or by visiting www.CF.edu/filmseries.
