Ocala Gazette has partnered with Marion County Animal Services to bring you, two furry friends, each week that are available for adoption.

Current adoption special: All pet adoptions in February are only $14. View more adoptable pets at www.marioncountyfl.org/animal. Adoption price includes up-to-date vaccinations, county license, microchip and spay/neuter surgery.

Cute 2-year-old hound mix male dog is ready for an adoptive family. He’s been trained in obedience and social skills through the FIDO program at Marion Correction Institution.

Black female 7-month-old cat seeks a home with purpose. Through the Working Whiskers program, less social cats can be adopted to help with rodent control at a farm or business.
