Many of the prep boys’ and girls’ sports teams in Marion County have started their 2021-22 fall campaigns earlier this week.

Here are some of those first-week results:

Vanguard’s Emma Ehmann had 14 kills while teammate Maddie Jacobs had four digs. Trinity Catholic’s Amelia Fitzpatrick and Kiana Laborde had 13 and 10 kills, respectively, while teammate McKenna Yates had 22 digs.

North Marion’s Kinley Manning had three kills; Lainee Hall, five blocks; Jadair Gutierrez, two serving aces and three digs; and Jayda Kinsler, five assists.

Forest’s Emma Truluck recorded 35 kills against the Indians. Madilyn Jerald had 34 digs and three serving aces. Sheridan Turner, 50 blocks. Aubrey O’Cull, nine blocks.
