Did you ever want to paint one of the Horse Fever equine statues? Well, here’s your chance.

The Marion Cultural Alliance is inviting members of the public to a CELEBRATION Community Paint Day event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 30 at the Brick City Center for the Arts at 23 S. Broadway St., Ocala.

“This vibrant, large-scale horse sculpture, designed by Maggie Weakley, will come to life through the hands of our community — families, artists, visitors and supporters — each adding their own brushstroke to a shared vision,” the news release noted.

“More than just a painting event, CELEBRATION reflects the heart of Marion County — its creativity, diversity and deep connection to both the arts and equestrian culture. Once complete, the sculpture will remain on display as a lasting landmark and symbol of what we can build together,” according to MCA.

The interactive paint-by-numbers experience is designed for all ages and skill levels. Each brushstroke will become part of a permanent public sculpture at The Brick and participation will help support the arts in the community.

The participation levels are:

• $12 for Community Contributor, which includes painting access, a souvenir sticker and digital donor recognition
• $25 for Legacy Painter, which allows you to paint your section of the sculpture and take home a collectible merchandise item with your name recognized on a digital donor list
• $100 for Masterpiece Sponsor, with enhanced recognition, preferred painting area (when available) and inclusion on the official sculpture plaque
•  $50, for Family Legacy Bundle, in which up to four participants can paint together.
