Appleton’s online artist talks schedule unveiled

The Appleton Museum of Art, College of Central Florida, will continue its free, online series of artist talks, “Artist’s Outlook,” the Appleton announced.
The museum unveiled a slate of six artists who will join Appleton curator of exhibitions Patricia Tomlinson on five different evenings to discuss their work, processes and inspirations. The online series will take place every third Thursday through June and is free to participate.
American painter Anthony Ackrill will kick off the series on Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. Ackrill is currently based in Florida and is known for his large-scale dramatic works. Ackrill’s piece, “The Reaper”, is part of the Appleton’s permanent collection.

Kristin Herzog – April 15
Matthew Bennett and Aneesha Rhodes – May 20
Maggie Taylor – June 17
