World War II Veterans Honored At VFW Veterans Village

World War II Veterans Honored At VFW Veterans Village: Eight World War II veterans, including six who live at the VFW Veterans Village, were honored for their service by members of the Florida Senate and the Florida House of Representatives, who visited with them. The event was organized with the help of Col. Al Lugo, the director of the VFW Veterans Village. The World War II veterans were given certificates and coins of appreciation and they were able to reminisce and tell their stories for people who attended.
