Vanguard student receives four-year scholarship

Vanguard High School senior Tony Johnson was recently awarded a four-year scholarship to Florida Atlantic University.

Johnson was one of 15 Florida high school students to receive the Kelly/Strul Emerging Scholars program, which offers academically talented, first-generation, low-income college students the opportunity to graduate from FAU, debt-free.
The financial aid package includes tuition, four-year on-campus housing, books, a meal plan and additional resources needed to complete their college degree.
