Marion County Animal Services (MCAS) announced on Dec. 17 that all adoption fees are being waved for the rest of the month due to overcrowding.

Adoption includes up-to-date vaccinations, county license and microchip, along with spay/neuter surgery.

Ellie is a nine-month-old kitten that prefers calm, gentle humans willing to take their time to win her affection.

Chrome is a two-year-old dog that likes to have fun, loves treats and will gladly learn new commands to get a tasty morsel.

Sal is a social and friendly pot-bellied pig, looking for a place to lay his head and soak in some mud baths.
