Then….and Now

The same intersection is shown looking west on July 2. The road has become a main artery of the city and has expanded to four lanes with a wide median and sidewalks. In the distance is the overpass that extended the road past Pine and merged it with Broadway, which was once the historic main road into town. [Bruce Ackerman/OG]
