SOCIAL SCENE: New exhibit celebrates the ‘Art of Aging’

The Marion Cultural Alliance’s annual “Art of Aging” exhibit will be on display through Aug. 30 at the Brick City Center for the Arts at 23 SW Broadway St. in downtown Ocala.
Artists and art lovers converged there on Aug. 1 for a festive “Art of Aging, Gallery of Gratitude” opening reception.
The annual exhibition is in partnership with Marion Senior Services. It features art in various mediums created by MCA artist members ages 55 and older. There also are seminars and a workshop connected to the theme.
