The shooting occurred at the intersection of Southwest 5th Street and Southwest 27th Avenue and Southwest 10th Street. The Ocala Police Department to the scene at 6:45 p.m. Monday, said OPD spokesperson Jeff Walczak.

The driver of the white Nissan has been taken into custody by law enforcement. The investigation remains ongoing, said Walczak.
