Road work projects cause delays

Motorists can expect temporary lane closures in parts of the Southeast and Northwest.

Work on CSX railroad crossings will affect traffic at Southeast 52nd Street, Southeast 62nd Street, Southeast 73rd Street, and Southeast 80th Street through Aug. 17.

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is upgrading the CSX crossings and installing Quiet Zones.

Motorists traveling along Northwest 35th Street, Northwest 42nd Street, and Northwest 42nd Place, can expect intermittent lane closures through June 30, in the following areas:

Northwest. 42nd Place, from C.R. 25A Northwest Gainesville Rd to US 441; Northwest 42nd Street, from Northwest 27th Avenue to C.R. 25A (N.W. Gainesville Road)

Northwest 35th Street Road from Amazon Distribution Facility to Northwest 27th Avenue.

Duke Energy is doing maintenance work on existing poles.
