Pro rodeo returns to Ocala in March

The 28th annual Southeastern Pro Rodeo is set to start on March 19 at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion.

The two-day event will feature competitions in events such as bull riding, steer wrestling and barrel racing. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with action starting at 7:30 p.m.

March 19 is Wrangler Patriot Night. Veterans, active military and first responders can get in for $15 with valid identification.

Children’s ticket prices also are discounted on March 19. Kids between the ages of six and 11 can get in with an adult for $10 at the gate or purchase a ticket online for $7.

Advance adult tickets are $18 online or at advance ticket locations and $22 at the gate. Children under five get in free. Reserve box seats are available for $35. For information, visit www.ocalarodeo.com or call (352) 286-6662.
