After the Florida Department of Transportation announced on Friday afternoon that that all lanes of northbound Interstate 75 (I-75) would be closed at County Road (C.R.) 484 in Marion County overnight Monday, March 6, while repairs are made to the Southwest 66th Street bridge over I-75, they issued a new press release saying the closure has been postponed.
New dates will be released in the future, according to FDOT.
The over pass was damaged on Feb. 22 when a tractor-trailer traveling northbound on I-75 with an over-dimension load struck and damaged the Southwest 66th Street overpass near the 347-mile marker on Wednesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
