North Marion head coach Stephanie Brown stressed the necessity of playing defense for an entire four quarters.
“Tonight’s game was an eye opener for the girls,” Brown said. “Defensively, we played lazy until the last three minutes of the 4th quarter.”
“I told the ladies if we were going to win, defense would be key,” Brown added.
With the win, the visiting Bobcats moved to 4-5 on the season. Their next contest will be at P.K. Yonge on Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. tip.
The Lady Colts sit at 6-1 after their first loss of the season. North Marion hosts West Port on Thursday night at 6:00 p.m.
