MCSO, Emergency Management and government agencies announce closures

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office Division of Emergency Management and local government agencies have announced several closures that may affect some citizens. Please review the following closures:

• Marion County Sheriff’s Office Central Operations building and district offices will close at noon on Tuesday and remain closed on Wednesday.
• Marion County Animal Services closed on Monday and will remain closed until further notice.
• Florida Department of Health in Marion County be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• The Fifth Circuit Courts in Marion County will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• City of Dunnellon business offices will close at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday and remain closed on Wednesday.
• The Federal Courthouse will close at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday and remain closed on Wednesday.
• Marion County Property Appraiser will close at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday and remain closed on Wednesday.
• Marion County Clerk of the Court will be closed on Wednesday.
• All Marion County offices and facilities will be closed on Wednesday.
• Ocala Police Department Headquarters lobby will be closed on Wednesday.

• City of Ocala business offices and public facilities will be closed on Wednesday.
• Marion Senior Services, including Marion Transit and dining sites, will be closed on Wednesday.
• SunTran bus routes will be suspended beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and remain closed on Wednesday.
• City of Ocala residential and commercial sanitation routes will be suspended on Wednesday. The suspended routes will experience a one-day delay.
• City of Ocala Downtown Parking Garage parking restrictions will be lifted until Tuesday which includes allowing visitors to park in the garage overnight.

Baseline Transfer Station and Recycling Center Operations: All Marion County Recycling centers and the Baseline Transfer Station will be open on Tuesday. Recycle Centers and the Baseline Transfer Station will be closed on Wednesday and reopen on T
