Marion County under tropical storm warning for Thursday

Anticipating Tropical Storm Nicole becomes a hurricane before hitting the eastern peninsula of Florida, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a hurricane warning from Boca Raton to the Flagler/Volusia County line.
The NWS issued Marion County a tropical storm warning.
A tropical storm warning means that tropical storm conditions, with an expected peak of 30-40 mph and gusts up to 50 mph are possible, generally within 36 hours.
According to the 3:39 p.m. NWS update, tropical storm winds could impact Marion County starting early Thursday.
