Marion County Parks and Recreation is launching its new Picture Where you Belong photo contest. The Marion County Parks and Recreation wants to see your best photos from different county parks and facilities.

From July 1 through 31, residents can submit a photo or video of each facility weekly. The photos can be of water activities, hiking, biking, or different plants and wildlife. Submissions should be sent to [email protected].

To qualify, photos must be at a different county park or facility each week. The photos can be with a furry friend at our dog-friendly parks. Photos can also be of water activities at our waterside parks, hiking or biking the trails, or of different plants and wildlife spotted at our parks.

Visit parks.marionfl.org/our-department/park-directory to plan your photography scouts.
