Jewelry outlets robbed at Ocala mall

In the past two weeks, two separate jewelry shops in the Paddock Mall were burglarized, according to the Ocala Police Department.

The first burglary occurred at the at the Piercing Pagoda kiosk and was reported on Jan. 23. The second occurred at Ocala Jewelers and was reported on Feb. 3. In both instances, a large amount of jewelry was stolen.

Detectives are actively investigating both incidents. Anyone with information can call OPD at (352) 369-7000.
