Sarah Grace Kirk, right, of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, serves pizza to Sydney Hart, an OPD Records Department worker, left, during the Feeding The Fearless Fridays event organized by Hiers-Baxley in the community room at the Ocala Police Department in Ocala, Fla. on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021. Brooklyn’s Backyard donated 5 of the pizzas for the event and Milano Pizzeria donated 20. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services is highlighting a different group of first responders for their Feeding The Fearless Fridays, where every Friday in February they are serving donated food to front-line workers such as members of law enforcement, fire rescue, nurses and hospital workers. In March, they plan to do the same thing in The Villages. The events are being held as a thank you for front-line workers who keep people safe, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
