FHP: Fatal accident claims one teen’s life

A 19-year -old Ocala man died early Saturday when the sport utility vehicle he was driving left a  northwest Marion County roadway and rolled over, the Florida Highway reports.

According to an FHP press release, the crash occurred around 5:09 a.m. as the driver traveled north on County Road 225A near U.S. Highway 27 and ”lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve, left the roadway, and rolled the SUV.”

The driver, who was not identified by name and was not wearing a seat belt,  was pronounced deceased at the scene, the press release stated.
