On Oct. 5, the Citizens’ Circle campus in downtown Ocala was awash in the colors, sounds and aromas of India.

The free cross-cultural experience of India was presented by the Strategic Community Alliance. Among the varied activities were face painting, a flash-dance mob, trivia competitions, a fashion show, Indian food and beverages, art, activities for kids, and classical, folk and Bollywood dance and music.
