Cheering up the children

On Dec. 4, AdventHealth Ocala and the World Equestrian Center brought WEC’s Winter Wonderland characters Santa, the Grinch, Belle, Spider-Man and Miss Tilly to visit children and their families at AdventHealth Ocala Pediatric Rehab.

“AdventHealth Ocala is thrilled to partner with the World Equestrian Center – Ocala as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2024 Winter Wonderland experience,” AdventHealth Ocala President and CEO Erika Skula said in a news release. “We are blessed to be part of this community, and we are honored to have the opportunity to support such a wonderful event that brings our community together, while promoting whole-person care and well-being this holiday season.”

WEC’s Winter Wonderland presented by AdventHealth Ocala will run throughout the holiday season, with activities Wednesdays through Sundays and a special event Dec. 23. From 5 to 9 p.m., visitors can enjoy light displays, decorations, meet Santa and the Grinch, and enjoy a host of characters and special entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays.
