Rep. Ryan Chamberlin, R-Belleview, and Rep. Nan Cobb, R-Eustis, are gearing up to run for re-election in 2026. Chamberlin, who joined the House after a 2023 special election, opened a campaign account this week to seek another term in 2026 in Marion County’s House District 24, according to the state Division of Elections website. Meanwhile, Cobb, who was elected to the House in November, opened an account to run again in 2026 in Lake County’s House District 26. Also in recent days, several other candidates opened accounts to run in 2026 for House seats. They included Republican Chase Brannan in House District 10, which is made up of Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Union and part of Alachua counties; Republican Michael Cruz in Osceola County’s House District 46; Republican Nick Pachota in Sarasota County’s House District 74; Republican Anthony Louis Bonna in House District 85 in Martin and St. Lucie counties; and Republican Yoni Anijar in Broward County’s House District 100, according to the Division of Elections website.
