Carolina wren
A familiar year-round resident of the Southeastern United States, the Carolina Wren is a cute little cinnamon-colored bird with a powerful and varied voice. Only the male sings and on average it has a large repertoire of more than 30 songs. They’re easily attracted to backyard feeders, and you can encourage them to stick around by providing a brush pile for nesting and protection.
