Yellow-throated warbler
These striking little warblers are distinctive for their classy black and white appearance contrasted with a bright yellow cravat. They’re year-round residents of Marion County and spend most of the year higher in the tree canopy foraging for insects. This one was photographed at a backyard feeder, where it finds easier meals in winter.
