Appleton Museum offers free admission for active military, veterans and their families

The Appleton Museum of Art, College of Central Florida, joins museums nationwide in the Blue Star Museums program offering free admission to currently serving military personnel, veterans and their families.

The program is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and participating museums across America. Free admission is available now through Labor Day (Sept. 6).

The free admission offer is available to members of the United States Military — Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, as well as veterans, and up to five family members. Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card. Veterans may present an ID or discharge paperwork.
