All in one: Politics, comedy and dinner

Marion County Republican Executive Committee invites the public to join them for an evening of politics, dinner, and comedy on June 1 at the Ocala Boat Club.

According to the program materials, “candidates from county commission, school board, legislature, judicial and sheriff races” will give “three-minute stump speeches” starting at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner service starting at 6:30 p.m. and comedy show with “political humor” following at 7:00 p.m.

The Ocala Boat Club is located at 9670 NE 28th Lane, Silver Springs, Florida 34488, at the Ray Wayside Park near the Ocklawaha bridge.

Tickets for the event are $35 a person and can be purchased online at https://bit.ly/3wsn9EN or by mailing a check made payable to “MCREC” to Bridgitte Smith c/o MREC, 4275 SW 85th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34481.
