Symphony Under the Lights is celebrating its 21st anniversary this year with the free annual concert under the oaks at Tuscawilla Park.
The event, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 6, is presented by Jenkins Auto Group with support from the city of Ocala and Florida Express Waste & Recycling.
The Ocala Symphony Orchestra and members of the Ocala Youth Symphony will perform a number of Christmas classics.
“The musicians and I look forward to this annual tradition. Between our performance with the Ocala Youth Symphony, the fun holiday atmosphere with so many community members in attendance, the beautifully lit atmosphere of Tuscawilla Park, and a surprise or two, we can’t wait to give this gift to Ocala / Marion County,” said Matthew Wardell, music director and conductor of the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, in a media release.
Tuscawilla Park is located at 500 NE 9th St, Ocala. Attendees are asked to bring blankets and chairs.
