OCT to host trivia night on March 9

Ocala Civic Theatre’s ACT 4 support group is hosting a trivia night at the venue on March 9.

ACT 4 is a 501(c)(3) and funds raised by the group are designated for use by OCT, including scholarships for after-school and summer youth programs and scholarships for college students majoring in the arts.

The trivia night will be led by emcee Philip Leppert, in partnership with Imagine Entertainment.

The questions are mostly general knowledge, but of course we’ll have some theatre questions thrown into the mix. There will be tables for groups and single players will be assigned to teams, the news release noted.

There will be a cash bar and hot dogs for sale, with all the toppings.

“And we have great prizes for our trivia winners and raffle winners: theatre tickets, hand-crafted jewelry, restaurant gift cards and more. There’s also a silent auction. All proceeds of trivia night benefit Ocala Civic Theatre. Round up your team and come play,” the release stated.

OCT is located at 4337 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. Trivia night is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $10. Seating is limited. Tickets are on sale at ocalacivictheatre.com, through the box office in person or over the phone at (352) 236-2274.
