The College of Central Florida’s student newspaper and literacy magazines were the recipients of numerous awards at the Florida College System Publications Association’s awards last month.

CF Citrus Campus’ literary magazine, “In the Write Mind”, placed second for the best staff page, which was produced by Ja’Onna Brown, Marjorie Johnston and Jessica Burns.

“Imprints”, CF Ocala Campus’ literary magazine, received second place for its two-page spread and for editing, in addition to notching a third-place finish for the contents page.

The Florida College System Publications Association brings students and advisors together to provide a common ground for discussion on publications and mass media. The association provides responsible guidance to student publications to ensure growth and for the education of future citizens of a free society.
