Nearly 200 guests attended the College of Central Florida Foundation’s Night at the Farm on March 7, celebrating an all-time record of more than $135,000 raised to support student scholarships.

The college’s Vintage Barn, which is located on a spacious CF campus at 4020 S.E. Third Ave., Ocala, glowed with the warm light of chandeliers and the sounds of contemporary cello music by Lorena Valido, according to a college representative.

This year’s annual event was presented by CAMPUS USA Credit Union, HCA Florida Healthcare, The Saint Bernard Foundation and VITAS Healthcare.

Established in 1959, the CF Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the officially designated means of making private, charitable contributions to the College of Central Florida. Its purpose is to change lives through education by providing community awareness, advocacy and funding to the college. Over the past 25 years, the Night at the Farm gala has raised more than $2 million.
