Candidate forum set for Sept. 3

Ocala Main Street, in partnership with the Ocala/Marion County Chamber & Economic Partnership, is hosting a candidate forum at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the Marion Theatre at 50 S. Magnolia Ave., Ocala.

The event will provide residents an opportunity to hear from candidates vying for positions in the city of Ocala election on Sept. 16.

The forum will include:

  • Mayor race: Zackary Arbor Feliciano and incumbent Ben Marciano
  • District 3 council race: Mark Clark, Tamboura Jenkins and incumbent Jay Musleh

“This forum is a crucial opportunity for our community to engage with the individuals who will shape the future of Ocala,” said Angie Lester, a board member of Ocala Main Street, in the news release.

The event is free and open to the public.
