More than 300 dogs are looking for a forever home during a mega adoption event on May 17-19, that includes adoptable dogs from 9 county and municipal shelters throughout central Florida.

The event will be held at the Florida Strawberry Festival Fairgrounds in the Grimes Family Agricultural Center at 2508 W. Oak Ave., Plant City from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

According to the media release from Marion County Animal Services, the adoption event is made possible due to “generous support from the Pet Resources Foundation, Team Godwin Foundation, Friends of Animals Services-Pasco County, Orange County Animal Services, and the Florida Strawberry Festival.”

The free adoptable dogs include up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and microchips.
