Ocala Fire Rescue reports that units responded Tuesday morning, Aug. 6, to a single vehicle crash on Interstate 75 at State Road 200 that left a semi tractor stuck on a guard rail and traffic backed up for approximately 11 miles.

According to an OFR press release, an engine, rescue unit and battalion chief responded to the scene to find the cab of the truck on the right shoulder guardrail and the rig’s trailer angled and blocking traffic. The driver was not injured.

OFR addressed a fuel leak and made state contacts. After the initial emergency response, the scene was “handed over” to the Florida Highway Patrol and Florida Department of Transportation, the press release stated.
