City of Ocala announces Memorial Day holiday schedule for sanitation and recycling services
The City of Ocala is preparing for the Memorial Day holiday weekend, with officials announcing delayed pickups for residential sanitation and recycling services.
According to the city media release, there will be no residential collection for sanitation, yard waste, or recycling routes on Monday, May 27. Regular collection schedules for Monday through Thursday will be delayed by one day, with pickup moved Tuesday, May 28 through Friday, May 31.
Similarly, Waste Pro recycling collection for residents will also take place one day later, starting Tuesday, May 27 through Friday, May 31.
