Ocala Gazette will be reporting on high school football season without a paywall thanks to help from Florida Credit Union, who has agreed to sponsor the season for a second year.

Only as a result of this sponsorship can we commit to covering this football season.

The sponsorship also benefits the school, family members, and athletes playing because they can reproduce all photos taken by our award-winning photojournalist, Bruce Ackerman, without cost.

“When businesses like Florida Credit Union support local journalism, they give our community the gift of connectivity that lasts long after the season is over through newspaper clippings and photographic mementos documenting the wins and losses that no doubt help shape the characters of our next generation,” said Jennifer Hunt Murty, publisher of the Ocala Gazette.

Other high school sports sponsorships are still available. If you are interested in sponsoring girls’ volleyball, which is starting soon, please reach out to us at marketing@ocalagazette.com for more information.
